Gift cards

Gift cards that never end up in a drawer.

A cardboard gift card gets lost, and a forgotten gift card is a customer you never see. A digital gift card lives in Wallet with the balance visible, reminding its owner that it exists.

Sold in a minute

Sell over the counter or share a link. The recipient adds the card to Wallet in one tap, with the amount on its face.

You deduct the amount with the web scanner at the till. The card in the customer's Wallet shows the new balance within seconds.

Passed on with one tap

A Wallet card can be shared. The buyer forwards the card to whoever gets to spend it, without you doing anything.

Questions about digital gift cards

How does a digital gift card work?
Like a normal gift card, minus the plastic. The card lives in the recipient's Apple Wallet or Google Wallet with the balance visible. At the till you scan the card and deduct the amount, and the new balance shows within seconds.
Can the recipient pass the card on?
Yes. Wallet cards can be shared from phone to phone. Grandma can buy the card and the grandchild can spend it, and neither of them needs an app.
What happens to a remaining balance?
The balance stays on the card until it is spent. The customer sees it every time they open Wallet, which is the best reminder to drop by again.
Do I need hardware to redeem?
No. The web scanner works on the phone or tablet you already have at the till. No card reader, no point-of-sale integration required.
